The label's third release comes from Goliath, aka Gary Kempston - brother of Clatterbox and Z-Bop co-founder. He creates crunchy electro goodness that sits somewhere between the SCSI label and Arovane – melodies to die for but beats that are never anything less than decimated. The Goliath technique involves taking pure analogue sound sources and then twisting these into jacking multi-rhythmic beat patterns, offset against haunting and playful backdrops, in the style of recent Autechre releases for example. The final results are all recorded live in one take, with everything you hear handcrafted from the ground up. Z-Bop style. Very good indeed."
